Nothing Was The Same

Judging by the name of the post, I'm guessing you know that I'm a huge Drake fan. Two weekends ago  I went to his Would You Like a Tour tour. This was my third Drake concert and I just really love how passionate and creative he is when he performs. During the concert Drake performed many of his songs from his latest album Nothing Was The Same. The title of his album describes perfectly where I am in my life right now. Nothing Was The Same marks my last Keep Sitting Pretty blog post as I will be changing my blog name, url, and much more.

I created Keep Sitting Pretty 2 years ago as a way to get my feet wet as a solo blogger. I wanted use the blog to inspire people to stay inspired while going after their biggest dreams one day at a time. This turned out to be a success through the use of affirmations via twitter, inspirational & style blog posts, and Instagram campaigns like the Be Your Dream campaign. I love Keep Sitting Pretty for everything it was, but as it has grown I have grown. My focus is now doing what I love WITH LOVE and celebrating life. My goal is to inspire and show others how to do the same. The new blog launch is set for 2014. Until then stay tuned for more updates, watch for behind the scenes as I prepare for the new launch, and stay connected with me @kelleywithlove via Instagram and twitter.

White and Gold Things I Love

I love to set my day in a positive direction and one of the ways I do that is by focusing on the things I love.  White and gold has found a very special place in my heart and I find myself swooning over this magical color combination almost daily.  I love that there is something whimsical, but modern about it. Lucky for me and you, there are lots of amazing white and gold trinkets out there to add to our growing collections!

1. When I saw this Kate Spade Rotating Stamp and Pad, I knew I'd be adding it to my collection. It has the right words to add a little sparkle to any and every project. Phrases include: "Be an Elegant Thinker" and "Live Colorfully." Fun right?
2.  I love this Javelina Rope Necklace by Anthropologie. It's the perfect statement piece for a casual day or a glamorous night.
3. Glitter makes my heart sing, and let me tell you it sung a beautiful tune when I laid my eyes on this Ked x Kate Spade New York Glitter Sneaker collaboration.
4. The animal craze that seems to be going on finally caught my attention when I discovered this charming little Giraffe Trinket Dish via Anthropologie.

3 Easy Fall Decor Tips

Fall is such a fun season. It's the season that the most heartfelt memories are created. It's time to start making your home feel a little more like fall and I wanted to share 3 easy tips to achieving the perfect fall decor!

Make it Cozy & Crisp

Fall brings cool air and crisp temperatures in preparation for winter. It's been affectionately named sweater weather, and the name is quite fitting. I find that fall translating fall's crisp temperatures and desire for coziness into decor can be fun and chic. To achieve a crisp and cozy feel for your home in fall start with a clean canvas to include whites, tans, browns, and even grays. To tie in a cozy feel incorporate textures such as fur, cotton, and even sheer fabrics - remember the fluffier the better.

Use a Pop of Color

Fun colors are one of the best parts of fall! Nature provides us with beautiful hues of oranges, yellows, and pinks to choose from. Draw from the leaves, sunsets, vegetables, and fruit of fall for your decor inspiration.

Leave a trace of Sparkle
