Bon Weekend!

This weekend I'm dreaming of..... St. Patrick's Day!  It's the perfect reason to go green even if only for a day!  Even though I'm not Irish (my name is though:)) I've always enjoyed partaking in St. Patrick's Day activities.  As a child I remember my mom used to make me chocolate shamrock cookies trimmed in green icing.  They were soooo yummy.  It is one of my fondest memories of my fabulous childhood.  I also remember being in kindergarten and leaving our classroom, only to return and find tiny glittery green foot prints all over the walls and tables that led to piles of glitter topped with a pot of gold(rolos).  Oh what great memories I have of St. Patrick's Day! Fast forward to today and I am look forward to some St. Patrick's Day fun and treats! Happy St. Patrick's Day!!!

I don't drink so I'll have to stick to this DIY Shamrock Shake, except I can't because I gave up all drinks except water for Lent.  Maybe I'll just dye my water green? Yeah, probably not lol.

I can be a home body sometimes so a movie night with comedy and action movies sounds nice right about now. Perhaps in a DIY movie theatre like this?

How cute is that? Oh, and check out the green lighting! Perfect for a St. Patrick's Day movie night!

And of course I'll need some tasty St. Patrick's Day themed snacks! Something like this...

Can't have a movie night without popcorn!

And just in case it turns into a party and I (you) want to have cute little favors for your guests, try something like this.

St. Patrick's Day Card Box (to be filled with cards or candy!)

Happy St. Patrick's Day to all of my fabulous readers.  Let me leave you with an Irish joke,  a good quote, a blessing, and a reminder!

Joke

What do you get when you cross poison ivy with a four-leaf clover?  A rash of good luck.  ~Author Unknown

Quote

May you live as long as you want and never want as long as you live. ~Irish saying

Blessing

May your pockets be heavy and your heart be light,
May good luck pursue you each morning and night.
~Irish Blessing

Reminder

Many an opportunity is lost because a man is out looking for four-leaf clovers.  ~Author ~Unknown
