Monday Maven: Make Me Over!

Have you ever looked in the mirror and just felt like "Sheesh, I need a makeover?!"  I know I have!  I always do a self check when I feel that way though.  Before I move forward with making over anything on the outside, I make sure that I am feeling beautiful on the inside.

A make over should always start with remembering and affirming who you are and what makes you you. If beauty is something you struggle with you can always look to the source of your creation for a reminder of just how amazing you are.

The scripture Psalm 139:14 says "I will praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made; marvelous are your works, and my soul knows very well!" Now if thats not awesome then I dont know what is! If you ever forget who you are, and what a masterpiece you are just pull out the definition of you (Psalm 139:14) and go from there.

Whenever I read that scripture it really speaks to my spirit which is why I know it is true, why I know that greatness is a part of me.  From there it becomes easier for me to identify who I am and tap into my true beauty.Once you've tap into your inner beauty, then pull out the polish, grab the mascara, and primp with some blush!  When you're glowing from the inside out, the make up won't be helping you, you'll be helping the make up!

Remember, you are beautiful just the way you are!  This song is dedicated to all of my beautiful followers!

Do you ever feel like you need a make over? What makes you feel beautiful?

  2. This is wonderful. I couldn't agree more. I have days where I look in the mirror and think "Geesh" BUT then quickly remind myself of my inner beauty and that's what counts.

When I have days where I want to break out my fine "China" I go to the closet. I love dressing up and putting on my best shoes...it actually helps my confidence...

Thanks for sharing...I love the scripture too!
    Good work.
