Brunch on the Blog

Hey Sweet Dreamers! Happy Friday and welcome to Brunch on the Blog...formally known as the Weekend Sleepover. I've decided to give this feature a little make over. I want this feature to serve as a place where we can chat so if you're reading this JOIN in on the convo be commenting below! This will be a place you can come to not only chat, but have fun,  share, and dream!

By now it's no secret that I'm a dreamer. I've always been a dreamer, and lucky for me I grew up with a mother that fostered those dreams and my creativity. As an adult I still have dreams and enjoy creating, but the dreamer in me has become bigger than the doer in me.  Has this happened to you to? I can't quite pinpoint the point in time this happened, but this year I've committed to becoming as big a doer as I am a dreamer, one step at a time!

One of the first places I wanted to apply the new "doer" in me is through my home decor. I mean have you ever seen a beautiful home and wish it were yours? Have you ever planned your dream home while you lived in your bland apartment? Well, me too but I'm changing that this year. I've decided not to wait until I get in my dream home to decorate, but to turn my current apartment into my dream living space right now. I've identified a few home decor DIYs here, here, and here. I'm looking forward to trying these and of course I'll be sharing it here on the blog! If you'd like to join me follow along and send me pictures of your projects as well. Thanks for stopping by Brunch on the Blog and don't forget to join in on the convo below.

Have you become more of a dreamer than a doer? How are you going to change that this year?

  2. I love this! I actually felt inspired to do the same thing, to start living out my dreams now instead of when I get that perfect house way down in my future. So I'm glad to know that you're thinking the same way!!

I found you through LC's site and I'm glad I did! I've already started decorating my bedroom and now I never want to leave it! :) lol
