Valentine's Style: Peplum Day & Night Look

Valentine's Day is the perfect day to pamper yourself and get all dressed up! This Valentine's Day I've chosen Peplum as my silhouette of choice.  Peplum is so fun, flirty, and romantic it practically lends itself to date nights whether they are with your BF or your BFF. I decided to give you two looks for some Valentine's Day style inspiration. I wanted to play with colors and silhouettes so I choose a colored bottom and a black skirt to style with. Check out both looks below.

Peplum & a Pop of Color:

For look 1, I chose a bright electric blue pant to pair with my hot pink peplum top. I think it's fun to play with color so any chance I get to do it I run with it. Pink and blue compliment each other perfectly and come together to make a really fun day time look for hanging out with your BFFs at Valentine's Brunch, Lunch, and even an early dinner. For shoes, I chose a nude pumps because they are simple, versatile, and don't take away from the fun colors in this outfit. They keep this look light and fun! To add another element of fun, pair this look with a bright polish. Below I'm wearing CoverGirl Outlast Stay Brilliant Nail Gloss "Out of the Blue".

Peplum & Peek a Boo Shoes

For look 2, I chose to switch it up just a little by pairing my peplum top with a black skirt. I didn't want to go too short with the skirt because my top is sleeveless and I like to keep it classy. I paired my skirt with some sleek black & sparkly peak-a-boo shoes! If it's a little cool out or you have a meeting or two to go to before you head out to Valentine's Dinner with your Love, pair this with a sleek lace blazer and clutch.
