When I'm feeling creative, I tend to dress more creative. This weekend I finally got around to putting some actions behind one of my dreams. Last year I opened my own Etsy store! It was my dream to create jewelry/accessories for girls like myself. Opening the store helped me overcome my fear and it did well. Eventually I closed my store so that I could focus more on blogging and my actual 9-5. Even though I closed it, creating jewelry has continued to be on my mind 24-7. I have some very creative concepts for handmade jewelry I'd like to make available for others to add to their collection of favorite items to wear!
I decided to get my feet wet this weekend by going out to search for some materials to bring my creations to life. This is just a first step, but the outlook is good. I'm so excited to be starting over and I'll definitely make sure you all get all of the first looks! The weather here in SC has been so dreary for about a week now. It was windy and cloudy on Saturday so I had to pull out a jacket. I decided to wear denim on denim and mix a few prints. I felt VERY 90s, but according to my friends and family my style is very doll-like, hippie, and chic. In other words they think I'm a flower child, so I felt totally in my skin with this look.
